Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner was elected by a landslide vote to reform a persistently racist and corrupt court system into one that respects the law and seeks justice for all. Since taking office, Ms Gardner has been attacked on several fronts as she sought to implement just reforms. City Counselor Julian Bush is representing the City of St. Louis in a lawsuit that only targets Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner for practices commonly used in the filing of city contracts. This appears to be part of a broader effort to use the City Counselor to carry out a vendetta on behalf of Ms Gardner’s opponents; which includes ex-Governor Eric Greitens’s legal team. These efforts against Ms. Gardner are both malicious and racist. Join us and other concerned citizens of St. Louis in demanding that Mayor Lyda Krewson: 1) Terminate Julian Bush, 2) Withdraw the city’s involvement in the lawsuit Lane vs. Gardner, 3) Support all legal and ethical efforts to release the funds for Ms. Gardner to pay her attorneys and 4) Lift the gag order. Together we can stop this abuse of power.
